El Cheminées Poujoulat ha estado navegando hacia el este con vientos frescos del norte entre la alta presión a su noroeste y la baja presión sobre el golfo de Cádiz. Este flujo se moderará mientras naveguen más al este, hacia la baja. Probablemente buscarán una franja estrecha de viento del SW alrededor del lado sur de la baja para subir hacia el estrecho de Gibraltar.
El Neutrogena y el GAES Centros Auditivos, siguen navegando rumbo norte con alisios del NE moderados. Tienen un par de días más de estas condiciones antes de navegar en una dorsal y virar hacia el este.
Los vientos están menguando para el We Are Water y el One Planet, One Ocean & Pharmaton al entrar en las calmas ecuatoriales. Los doldrums se están moviendo hacia el sur y sus vientos disminuyendo, por lo que se prevé una travesía lenta.
Todavía navegando frente a la costa sureste de Brasil, el Renault Captur sigue avanzando gradualmente hacia el noreste en un patrón de vientos ligeros y mar más llana. Los vientos inestables deben mejorar en el próximo día o dos al tiempo que consigan entrar en los vientos alisios.
El Spirit of Hungary siguen beneficiándose de vientos frescos  del N / NW en el cuadrante noreste de la alta presión a su sudoeste.

00Z FRIDAY (20-MAR-2016)
1)    Weak high (1009mb) near 45S?62W. A trough of low pressure north of the high extending southeast of Punta Alta, Argentina to 45S/55W.
2)    High (1021mb) near 46S/25W w/ ridge extending west-northwest to 38S/47W. Moderate NW winds between ridge and trough to the south.
3)    Low (1014mb) near 32S/34W, with a broad area of low pressure associated with the low southeast of Cabo Frio.
4)    ESE/E trades north of 22S, building with distance north, becoming moderate E trade winds between 16S and 08S.
5)    Winds ease quickly north of 08S and into the doldrums
6)    The doldrums will be growing in width and trending southward as the NE trades of the Northern Hemisphere strengthen and the SE trades of the southern Hemisphere weaken. The northern Doldrums boundary will be north of the Equator near 01N to 02N. The southern Doldrums boundary relocates to near 04S. There will be a high chance of significant calms developing in the doldrums.
7)    NE trade winds fill around 02N. NNE/NE moderate at 02N veering with distance north, to fresh NE winds from abeam of the Cape Verdes to 24N.
8)    High (1030mb) 38N/29W just west of the Azores.
9)    Low (1006mb) in the Gulf of Cadiz near 34N/09W. Strong N winds between the high to the west and this low. These winds extend south to the Canary Islands.
00Z SATURDAY (21-MAR-2015)
1)    Low pressure (993mb) located near 44S/49W. Strong S’ly push west of the low up the Argentinian coast to Rio de la Plata.
2)    Weak low pressure (1011mb) further offshore to the east-northeast near 38N/32W. This low will be weakening with time.
3)    Weak high pressure (1014mb) south-southeast of Cabo Frio. There will be weak winds around this low and well to the east of Cabo Frio, north to 21S and east to 30W.
4)    South Atlantic trade winds 21S to 09S. Trades moderate, but unsteady throughout. Trades will be quickly easing north of 09S to the southern Doldrums boundary which shifts south to near 05S.
5)    Doldrums generally between 05S and the Equator. Light and variable winds within the doldrums, with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms.
6)    North of the Equator, NNE/NE trade winds hold moderate to near 30N. Winds do veer NE with distance north.
7)    High (1035mb) southwest of Ireland with a ridge southwest to just west of the Azores to 28N/42W.
8)    Low (1007mb) at 37N/07W or over southern Portugal. Strong N/NNE winds between the low and high pressure ridge to the west. These winds extend south to 30N.
9)    Light and variable winds south of the low across the Gulf of Cadiz to near Madeira.

1)    High (1022mb) near 43S/62W. Low (972mb) near 47S/37W with a  cold front wrapping from 45S/30W to 36S/34W to 30S/44W. A broad flow of S/SW wind extending from the Falkland Islands north to near 30S behind the front.
2)    South Atlantic high pressure (1025mb) 31S/09W with a ridge extending west-northwest to 23S/33W. Variable winds south of the ridge west of 30W and south to 30S.
3)    North of the ridge, trade winds are generally N’ly at 23S veering NE at 20S ENE at 15S. North of 15S, trade winds generally E/ESE to the southern doldrums boundary near 4S.
4)    Doldrums located from 04S to near the Equator. Light and variable within the doldrums east of 28W. West of 28S, light SE/E winds.
5)    The northern Doldrums boundary between Equator and 01N. NE trades fill north of 01N and are fresh NE’lies between 05N and 13N.
6)    High (1028mb) near 37N/34W and a low (1009mb) southwest of the Gulf of Cadiz centered near 35N/10W. Fresh N’ly winds between the low pressure and high pressure centers.
7)    A light SW flow will be along the Moroccan coast just southeast of the low center. This flow will back to light S’ly outside Gibraltar Strait.
