*** SYNOPSIS ***
00Z MONDAY (02-FEB-2015):
1)    Low pressure (976mb) near 60S/24E with a front 50S/28E to 42S/15E to
35S/03E.
2)    A very sharp and narrow ridge extend from 30S/00E to 38S/15E to
44S/30E to 46S/46E. S/SE flow north of the ridge axis and generally NW
flow to the south ahead of the cold front. Within the ridge, there is
a narrow band of light and variable winds separating the SE and NW
breezes.
3)    Low pressure (1009mb) is near 34S/32E. An associated trough extends
south to 44S/35E. Fresh Sílies are west of the trough and moderate to
fresh NEíly are east of the trough.
4)    High pressure (1026mb) is centered near 41S/54E, but maintains a broad
area of light winds from 50E to 68E along about 40S. A ridge axis lies
from 40S/67E to 47S/90E, marking the shift between Wíly flow to the
south and S/SE flow to the north.
5)    Ex-cyclone Diamondra (983mb) is centered near 37S/89E, and has a large
area of Gale Force winds around it extending to 43S at 90E and west to
40S/80E.
6)    Cyclone Eunice (986mb) 23S/85E is beginning to turn from moving east-
southeast to southeast. Eunice is also beginning to go into a
transition from tropical to extra-tropical.
00Z TUESDAY (03-FEB-2015):
1)    A high pressure ridge remains southwest and south of South Africa from
34S/9E to 45S/34E. A cold front will be squeezing up against the
western side of this ridge. A complex wind pattern of a mix of NW
winds shifting quickly S between the ridge and front.
2)    Low pressure (1006mb) returns to the waters east of East London off
South Africa. A trough will extend south of the low to 44S/32E.
3)    High pressure (1025mb) near 40S/55E ñ shifting north, allowing
westerly flow to return in a lane north of the Ice Exclusion Zone.
4)    Significant weather from the remains of Cyclone Diamondra will be
moving south. The deep low (978mb) will move to 37S/89E , supporting a
strong Síly flow west of the low down to 45S and as far west as 70E in
the gradient with the high pressure at 40S/55E.
5)    Tropical Cyclone Eunice (983mb) will move to 37S/96E. This cyclone
will be getting absorbed into the remains of Diamondra to the west. A
high latitude trough will be moving east toward 90E south of 50S.
6)    The high latitude trough will phase with the remains of Diamondra and
Eunice to develop an intense extra-tropical low (963mb) near 44S/95E
by 12S 03-FEB-2015.
7)    Storm force winds will extend up to 200nm away from the center of this
merged low. Gale force winds will extend out up to 400nm from the
center. Large and confused seas are also likely.
00Z WEDNESDAY (04-FEB-2015):
1)    A high pressure ridge will extend west to east along 48S-50S between
10E and 45E. North of this ridge, A SE flow will be blowing up to
about 40S.
2)    Low pressure (1003mb) will be near 37S/34E, moving southeast. A trough
will extend southeast of the low to 46S/45E. South of the trough SW
winds while north of the trough mainly fresh to strong N winds.
3)    High pressure (1025mb) near 37S/61E. There will be a moderate to fresh
Wíly flow between the high center and northern Ice Exclusion Zone.
4)    An intense low (960mb) will be centered near 48S/98E. Storm forecast
winds will extend up to 150nm from the center, while gales will extend
out to 350nm. SE winds generally west from 98E to 85E. Winds veer NW
east of 98E.
00Z THURSDAY (05-FEB-2015):
1)    High pressure (1025mb) near 39S/08E with a ridge extending to 49S/34E.
north of the ridge axis, SE winds will extend north to 38S.
2)    Low pressure (1001mb) will move to 43S/44E. SE/S winds to the west and
south of the low, shifting N to the east of the north of 47S.
3)    High pressure (1024mb) will move east to 36S/68E with a broad ridge
extending east to 32S/90E. Mainly Wíly winds will be south of the
high/ridge to the northern edge of the exclusion zone.
4)    The intense low (969mb) and combined remains of Diamondra and Eunice
will move to 60S/90E. Strong gale to storm force winds will extend up
to 39S along with very squall conditions.
