Weather forecast 21/03/2015

First place Cheminées Poujoulat has sailed out of stronger N’ly winds and into lighter W’ly winds as they approach the Moroccan coast. They are sailing around the periphery of low pressure to their north over the Gulf of Cadiz. They should be able to remain in mainly following breezes sailing northeast along the Moroccan coast toward Gibraltar.

Neutrogena and GAES Centros Auditivos are still in the North Atlantic trade winds and sailing toward a high pressure ridge. They have a day to two more of this before reaching the ridge where they will tack toward the east and set up for their approach to Gibraltar.
The doldrums are relatively wide and very light for We Are Water and One Planet, One Ocean & Pharmaton. The crossing will be slow, with slightly better conditions to the
west compared to the east. They will not start to feel the NE trades of the North Atlantic until they are nearing the Equator.
Conditions are not really improving for Renault Captur as they sail off the Brazilian coast toward Cabo Frio in very light, squally, variable winds. This pattern really doesn’t improve in the next 24 hours, but there should be some building N’ly winds tomorrow.
Spirit of Hungary remain in decent NW winds ahead of low pressure, and look to stay in these favorable conditions for some time.
