Azucarera del Ebro

Azucarera del Ebro is the main sugar producer in Spain, with a market share of white and natural cane brown sugar of nearly 800,000 Tm.

It is the result of several companies merging in recent years  (Sociedad General Azucarera de España, Compañía de Industrias Agrícolas and Ebro Compañía de Azúcares y Alimentación) whose respective origins date back to the beginning of the century. Their factories all over Spain employ more than 2000 people. The sugar manufactured is collected from nearly 13,000 growers whose harvests are under contract to Azucarera del Ebro every year.
