Over 300 videos were sent by the Barcelona World Race skippers, which filled the Barcelona World Race special programmes broadcast by some of the most prestigious sports and general channels on television, as well as providing fresh daily news from the regatta. This material was key in the exceptional coverage of  the Barcelona World Race, whilst still in its relative infancy.

Winner:

Neutrogena, for the enormous quantity and great quality of material sent and the clarity employed to bring offshore sailing and life on board closer to the general public.

Estrella Damm, for the excellent quality of the footage sent through, which was of a near-professional level. The will to explain and clearly describe experiences of life on board and to share the raw experiences and emotions with the general public, even the most conflicting emotions.

Life on board in the Southern Indian Ocean can be very damp indeed.
