Hugo Boss: Heading east
And so during the night the moment all of the crew on board HUGO BOSS have been waiting for came: we are tacking and heading east! I can`t quite recall the lat tack, but it might very well be more than 3000 miles ago, in any case well before Rio de Janeiro. After close to one hundred days at sea though Andy and myself work together as a well oiled machine, and so few words were needed to make an absolutely flawless tack. So good job by all crew involved, and happy to be on the other tack as now we are pointing more towards the mark, and ticking off the miles. Certainly with the forecast being rather unstable for the approach to Gibraltar there will be a few more twists and turns in the finale of this ocean racing marathon. So on our toes, alert and keep focused, quite some miles to go.
