From the GAES girls last night

As we sail into a black abyss, we were pleased to see that a patch of
sky cleared and the stars revealed themselves. Now we are confident the
three kings can find us and deliver a stash of presents!
Since leaving the Straits we were left feeling very tired and we have
used yesterday to catch up on some sleep and get some rest. To actually
sleep all the way through an off watch without having to jump up and
help with a sail change or manouevre has been great. We do however feel
we are being hunted down by a pack of hungry wolves by the boats that
have left the Straits now and are hot on our heels heading west.
It is a bumpy ride with the swell increasing but we only have this for
today and them we hope to be tacking south.
