Three years prior to the start of the Barcelona World Race 2014, the Preliminary
Notice of Race has been published and can be downloaded from the following link:
The third edition of the race has some novelties, such as a higher emphasis on
increasing environmental and scientific study and research:
- We are working in favour of zero emissions: obligatory use of hydro generators.
- Increasing scientific value: obligatory use of the salinity and plastic sensors on the
participant boats.
